NHK Trophy 2012-2013 Live

The judges seem to be conservative in awarding points this first Grand Prix of the season–Kiira should have gotten a higher score in her sp. I thought her short program epitomized the art of figure skating. Her devastating beauty perhaps intimidates the judges and they score her lower than they would normally. I think her long program could rocket her up onto the podium. There are three skaters I always enjoy watching–Alissa Czisny, Kim Yu Na and Kiira Korpi. They represent what figure skating is all about. Somebody should carve marble statues of all three of them and put the statues in the Louvre.
